Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Daniel Johnson discovered his passion for music early on. At the tender age of 16 years old when other teens were focused on obtaining a drivers license, Daniel was starting his professional music career with gospel music pioneer, Andre Crouch. What an awesome privilege to have exposure to such a musical genius which whom Daniel credits as a major influence in his creative and ethical growth.

The son of a singer and musician, Daniel grew up surrounded by great music and impeccable gifts. Through this gifting and years of teaching, Daniel has become a well sought after vocalist, writer, producer, arranger and music director. Daniel’s soulful and sultry sound has afforded him the opportunity to share on numerous recordings with artists including Michael Jackson, Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, Dave Hollister, Kare Clark and Boyz II Men just to name a few. In addition he has also toured extensively with Israel & New Breed, Andre Crouch, Chris Tomlin and Darius Rucker. All while serving as worship leader at his home church.
